Identity & Security Engineer

I'm an IT Identity and Access Management Engineer with 10 years of experience helping fast-growing companies build identity infrastructure that actually scales. I've spent most of that time deep in Okta building provisioning automations, wiring up SSO and SCIM across hundreds of applications, and owning access requests and governance end-to-end.
What drives me is the gap between security and usability. The best identity systems are the ones people don't notice — where the right access is just there, provisioned automatically, revoked cleanly, and auditable without anyone having to think about it. I like building those systems, and I especially like automating the tedious parts so engineers can focus on what actually matters.
Most recently I was at GitLab as a Security Engineer on the Identity team. Before that, I spent six years at Faire scaling IT from a one-person shop to a team of 15 as the company grew from 120 to 1,000+ employees.
